DE-OILING CENTRIFUGES

VERTICAL DE-OILING CENTRIFUGES

These centrifuges are employed for the de-oiling of small metal parts.

They consist of a removable, auto-balancing stainless steel basket,

for drying and de-oiling of small metal parts.

The oil is extracted from the parts automatically and in a short time through centrifugation.

This process usually takes place before the washing and drying operations.

Operation: the swarf, introduced through the feed hopper, fall directly on the bottom of the basket and

are pushed upwards by the centrifugal force.

They release lubricant by passing in the filtering sector, then move back to the top edge of the basket

where they are expelled and collected at the bottom of the centrifuge.

Application: the machine can be used for deoiling of various types of swarf such as steel,

brass or aluminium of medium and small size.

It is used for de-oiling of small metal parts, produced continuously by

moulding machines and by Rolling machines.

Loading is done by conveyor belt, unloading by overturning of the basket.

SPECIAL VERSION

This type of machine consists of a basket where the material to be dried is placed. This basket,

by rotating at high rpm inside a drum, enables the material contained to dry.

The machine can be equipped with fans and electric resistors to obtain hot air recirculation and

thus speed up and improve the drying process.

The LM Rotary painting machines are indicated for all types of hardware surface treatment,

from the painting of buttons, buckles, fashion accessories and any other element requiring surface

transparent painting. For mechanical parts used in the automotive field, subject to corrosion, the

LM Rotary painting machines are used to treat the Finigard of the Dacromet and for Oiling.

Treatment operations are simple and fast.

The material is loaded into the basket in bulk, with considerable saving of time as it is not necessary to

handle the pieces further. For industrial use, the Rotary painting machines and the

Drying centrifuges are inserted into automatic lines called systems, built by LM. In treating Top-coating

where drying is required by hot air, the Rotary painting machine is combined with a LM Centrifuge where air

can reach temperatures of 120° - 140°. In this case, the material to be treated is introduced into the line and returned at the end of the cycles.

unloading systems  equipped with vibrating hoppers or  conveyor belts for materials’ dosage

are available. For more delicate parts,  the latter can include a device reducing  gaps at transit points to

smoothly convey  materials into the special caissons.

Treatment tanks are filled with a specific liquid which is used to chemically/physically treat

(e.g. Top- Coating, Phosphating, Passivation, Galvanising, etc.) the materials contained in

baskets via impregnation. Tanks are made of different materials (AISI 304, AISI 316, Polypropylene, etc..)

and may be integrated with a liquid heating, cooling and movement system.

Tilting occurs via an oil hydraulic system with hydraulic pistons.

The range of containers offered is very wide and they are often customised based on customer needs.

The basket diameter (270 - 360 - 480 - 550 - 660 - 800 - 950 mm) defines the size of the centrifuges or machines

where the baskets will then be placed. They are generally made of perforated sheet and/ or provided with

electro-welded mesh, with flat or rounded bottoms, with or without polyurethane coating, etc.
